Hi there and welcome to Grant Parfery photography. I am a Glasgow based photographer who has a very relaxed, laid back and friendly approach to photography. Whether it be studio work, Irish Dancing, construction, wedding or a function for that special occasion, I like to get to know you and try to make the whole experience enjoyable and fun for both you and me.
My style is very natural and spontaneous . I enjoy telling a story through my pictures and will catch all those funny little moments that will stir memories in the months and years to come. I like to try to capture the feel and atmosphere of the moment in every single shot. People look at their best when they are happy and relaxed, so when doing functions ,I tend to blend into the background and most people are not even be aware they have had their photo taken until they see the fabulous results. Each occasion is different though and I treat each shoot individually.
I also love working in the studio and will capture your personality in some beautifully lit images . Gone are the days of standing there and saying cheeeeeese. Lets have some fun and see what we can come up with together. I will listen to you and what YOU want because after all, it is your photographs.
I am also involved in the Irish Dancing world. My wife is 5 times World Champion ,ex Lord of the Dance dancer ,dance teacher and adjudicator Caroline Greene. I have shot countless front covers for Irish Dance Magazine which is printed in the USA and distributed world wide.
I also do wedding photography which I enjoy very much ,and always try to ensure the happy couple are enjoying their big day instead of stressing out!
I feel very privileged that my work gives me a window into so many peoples lives and supplies the opportunity for me to make so many new friends.
